It is essential for you to grow both as a person and as a creative freelancer. The two go hand in hand.
Spirituality is NOT a religion
Spiritual growth is more like a journey of discovery. Spirituality as a dimension of wellness, does not involve angels, hermits in a cave or psychics and those following a religious faith. It involves you and your own journey. It is beneficial for everyone: Greater self-confidence and self-esteem as you are true to yourself rather than the doctrines and ways imposed upon you.
Forever evolving not set in its ways established on old precepts. To progress and find fulfilment we need to have meaning and purpose in our lives, not be hemmed in and limited.
Hopefully you are firtunate enough to live in a town that allows people of all faiths to follow their path of self-discovery. An open-minded and tolerant town with churches of all faiths, welcoming the methods practiced in all four corners of the world. Where you can also benefit from plenty of activities and resources to help stimulate you along this journey of self-awareness and spiritual growth.
In terms of “wellness” this dimension of wellness is about personal growth. Becoming the best you can become. Be grateful for what you have while still striving to achieve more.
Spiritual growth is a term synonymous with personal spiritual development and developing higher awareness. The keyword being “developing”.
Developing inner guidance based on knowledge and experience, seeking new knowledge and experience by discovering and questioning beliefs – this is how we evolve. Essentially open-minded rather than most religions which are exclusive and shut out beliefs of others
